Our Engagement
Process
Every engagement follows a structured four-stage approach — from an initial governance review through to ongoing advisory support. We begin by understanding your business, not just your filing status.
Engagement Stages
Initial Consultation
Understand your business and compliance position
Compliance Review
Identify gaps and outstanding obligations
Custom Roadmap
Plan, prioritise, and define deliverables
Ongoing Support
Monitor, file, and keep you compliant
What happens at each stage
Initial Consultation
Before any engagement begins, we take time to understand your business — its structure, stage of growth, governance maturity, compliance history, and strategic objectives. This is a complimentary session with CS Akash Binoy directly, not a pre-sales call. The goal is to accurately assess what you need and whether our firm is the right fit.
In This Stage
- Business structure and regulatory status review
- Identification of immediate obligations and risk areas
- Discussion of applicable laws and filing requirements
- Plain-language assessment of your current compliance picture
Compliance Review
A thorough, document-level review of your existing corporate records, statutory filings, resolutions, and compliance registers. We identify gaps, outstanding obligations, potential penalties for past defaults, and areas where the records may not accurately reflect the company's actual position.
In This Stage
- Review of MOA, AOA, and incorporation documents
- MCA-21 filing history and default identification
- Board and shareholder resolution audit
- Statutory register review and gap analysis
Custom Roadmap
Based on the compliance review, we prepare a structured action plan — prioritised, costed, and mapped to your business calendar. This document becomes the operating guide for the engagement and is shared with your board or management team before any work begins.
In This Stage
- Priority-ordered list of compliance obligations
- Deadlines mapped to your business and regulatory calendar
- Estimated cost and resource requirements
- Defined deliverables with clear completion criteria
Ongoing Support
The roadmap transitions into an ongoing advisory relationship — where we handle all filings, monitor regulatory changes, advise on governance matters, and keep your compliance calendar current. You have direct access to CS Akash Binoy for advisory questions at every stage.
In This Stage
- All recurring filings and annual returns filed on time
- Board and AGM notices, minutes, and resolutions
- Regulatory change monitoring and proactive alerts
- Direct principal access — no gatekeepers or relay staff

Process Questions
Common questions about how engagements begin, what each stage involves, and what to expect along the way. Anything not covered here — ask us directly.
Yes — completely. The initial consultation is a no-fee, no-commitment conversation. It is not a sales call; it is a genuine professional assessment. We use it to understand your business and compliance position, and you use it to assess whether our firm is the right fit. There is no pressure and no invoice regardless of whether you proceed.
There is no formal preparation required. If you have them to hand, a brief overview of your company structure, any recent MCA correspondence or notices received, and a sense of your most pressing compliance concerns will make the conversation more productive. For a new or pre-incorporation business, a clear picture of your plans and intended structure is sufficient.
The compliance review is typically completed within one to two weeks, depending on how quickly your existing documents — MOA, AOA, board minutes, statutory registers, and prior MCA filing history — can be made available. For companies with complex structures or extended filing histories, it may take slightly longer. We give you a realistic estimate at the outset of the review.
Yes. The four-stage process is our standard approach for clients entering an ongoing retainer. However, we also handle project-based engagements — a one-time secretarial audit, company incorporation, GST registration, or a specific MCA filing — without requiring a full compliance review first. Reach out to describe what you need and we will recommend the most appropriate structure.
The retainer covers all recurring statutory obligations — annual returns (MGT-7, AOC-4), board and AGM notices and minutes, statutory register maintenance, MCA filings, and direct advisory access for compliance questions as they arise. The precise scope depends on your company type and complexity, and is agreed clearly in the roadmap before the retainer begins, so there are no ambiguities about what is and is not included.
Urgent matters are handled as a priority outside the standard onboarding sequence. If you have received a regulatory notice, face an imminent filing deadline, or have an immediate compliance concern, contact us directly and we will respond promptly. We do not require a full onboarding to begin addressing something time-sensitive.
Our engagements are structured to end professionally. If your business circumstances change and you wish to conclude the retainer, we complete all pending filings, bring your statutory registers up to date, and ensure a clean transfer of all records to you or your incoming advisor. We ask for reasonable advance notice so that no compliance obligation is left outstanding during the transition.
